Within the immensely popular DMZ game mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, there’s a hidden map known as Koschei Complex. This area is a sprawling, underground bunker that’s filled with enemies and loot.
Unlike other maps, you cannot simply load into or exfiltrate to Koschei Complex. Instead, you will need to enter the Koschei Complex via one of four secret entrances located around Al Mazrah.
Your path to the Koschei Complex can be long and arduous, but with decent equipment—and perhaps a couple of friends—you’ll be able to unlock and explore the massive bunker.
How to enter the Koschei Complex in DMZ
Thankfully, you won’t need a key to enter the Koschei Complex. All you need to do is walk through one of four different entrances:
- Al Mazrah City underground parking lot
- Rohan Oil utility tunnel
- Taraq Road bridge
- Oasis Ruins.
Each entrance is marked by a large, vault-like structure with Cyrillic writing, and to enter said structures, you simply press the corresponding button on the screen that says “Travel to Koschei Complex.”
You and your team will then need to “Hold to Confirm Travel to Koschei Complex” by holding the corresponding button. Once that is complete, you’ll receive a healthy 2500XP and enter a loading screen.
Once you load into the Koschei Complex, you’ll have all that you’ve looted prior to your entrance with you. Then, depending on which way you entered the Complex, you’ll have to complete a different challenge.
No matter the challenge, your ultimate goal is to extract a Weapon Case. There are six different rewards you can earn for doing so, but sadly, you can only extract one Weapon Case in a match. In order to earn each reward, you’ll have to successfully extract a Weapon Case from the Koschei Complex six different times.
- 1 Weapon Case — The Queen | Loading Screen
- 2 Weapon Cases — Double Battle Pass XP Token
- 3 Weapon Cases — Hunting Bug | Calling Card
- 4 Weapon Cases — Incubating | Emblem
- 5 Weapon Cases — Double Weapon XP Token
- 6 Weapon Cases — LA-VX 330 | Weapon Blueprint
Here are the different entrances to the Koschei Complex so you can get started on extracting those Weapon Cases.
All Koschei Complex entrances in DMZ
Al Mazrah City underground parking lot entrance
Between a massive sandstorm and a city full of enemy soldiers, this entrance isn’t the easiest to breach. Head directly to the center of Al Mazrah City and follow the road east until you come across an underground parking lot—it’s around the southwestern point of G3.
There’s plenty of loot around the area, but what you’re really looking for is the door next to the C1 pillar and a graffiti-tagged dumpster. Head through the doors, then the corridor, then turn left and go down the staircase. The stairs will lead to the complex bunker entrance.
Rohan Oil utility tunnel entrance
The Rohan Oil tunnel entrance will most likely be one of the closest entry points to Koschei Complex upon spawning. Head to the Oil Refinery at D3 and follow the road into a small tunnel. You’ll see a sign reading “Utility Tunnel.”
Enter the Utility Tunnel and crawl underneath the half-closed roller door. Push forward and across toward the white question mark on your minimap. If you continue to come across enemies, it likely means you’re going the right way.
The road and tunnel are crawling with armored AQ and riot-shielded troops, so bring your best equipment and a friend for this entrance. Once you hit the bunker door, head inside.
Taraq Road bridge entrance
This is one of the quieter bunker entrances—making it the most popular for operators. If you’re here early, prepare for quite a fight, potentially with enemy players.
The Taraq Road bridge is fairly easy to spot. Head to the easternmost point of E2 and search the riverbank where the bridge meets the land. You’ll notice a destroyed wall and a passageway leading deeper into the ground. Once inside the tunnel, there are very few enemies and only one direction forward to the bunker door.
Oasis ruins entrance
This is the entrance I’ve used most often. Head to the southwestern point of D2, where you’ll find a giant dig site and some half-buried ruins. Enter the ruins and head down underground. You’ll know you’re going the right way if you come across toxic green mist and you hear a Geiger counter ticking.
There are next to no enemies defending the Oasis ruins site, allowing for a much easier time entering Koschei Complex, but unless you catch a good starting spawn, you might find the other three entrances a lot closer.
