The top four teams in the open bracket of the first Call of Duty World League LAN event for Black Ops 4 have been determined.
Several squads began their open bracket journey with aspirations of qualifying for pool play, but only four teams could go undefeated to earn a spot in the CWL Las Vegas group stage—Heretics KFC, Excelerate Gaming, Mazer Gaming, and Team Sween.

Heretics KFC were the first team to qualify for pool play through the open bracket. Alejandro “Lucky” López, Juan “JurNii” Antonio González, Jorge “MethodZ” Bancells, Endika “Sukry” Andres, and Adrian “MeTTalZz” Serrano made quick work of FaZe Clan Black to earn a spot in Pool B.
Excelerate Gaming—Christopher “ProFeeZy” Astudillo, Ethan “FA5TBALLA” Wedgeworth, Michael “Beehzy” Said, Austin “Believe” Smith, and Mike “MRuiz” Ruiz—followed suit by stunning the top-seeded open bracket team, The Imperial. ProFeeZy and crew took down Enigma6 and then beat Imperial 3-1 to qualify for Pool D.
Mazer Gaming were the next team to pull off a shocking win to enter pool play. Ted “TeddyRecKs” Kim, Vlad “Ramby” Sanchez, Tanner “Super” Bowen, Alex “Zaptius” Bonilla, and Michael “Apox” Williams swept Australia’s Tainted Minds to earn a spot in Pool C.
Finally, Team Sween secured the last group stage spot by beating Team Revenge. Shea “QwiKeR” Sweeney, Connor “Weeman” Chilton, Nick Nolson, Dylan Henderson, and Brian “Braaain” Fairlamb will be in Pool A after defeating Team Revenge 3-1.

Although these four teams survived the grueling open bracket, this weekend’s tournament is far from over. Pool play action is now underway at CWL Las Vegas, where the best teams in the world are fighting for the top two spots in each group to advance into the championship winners bracket.
