If you didn’t pre-order Call of Duty: WWII but want in on the upcoming private beta, Xfinity is offering free beta codes for any customer who applies.
Comcast announced Xfinity Internet customers can use their Comcast account to obtain a code for both the September private beta, as well as August’s exclusive PlayStation 4 beta. Users just have to log into Xfinity’s promotional offer with their Comcast account number and redeem their code.
Codes are available from Aug. 21 to 31, with the PlayStation 4 private beta beginning on Aug. 25 and running to Aug. 28. Xfinity is also offering codes for Call of Duty: WWII’s Sept. 1 to 4 private beta, which includes both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. So for Xbox players that will miss the PlayStation 4 beta, there’s still a chance to play once September begins.
“We’re excited to give our Xfinity Internet customers the chance to play the latest version of the Call of Duty Multiplayer 2 months before release,” Comcast’s executive director of partnership marketing Matt Lederer said in a press statement. “Our partnership with Activision is a natural extension of our esports affiliation and gives us the chance to offer our customers something really special, further positioning Xfinity as a brand whose products and services are synonymous with gaming.”
There’s some terms to keep in mind before applying for a Call of Duty: WWII beta code, though. Only one code is available per Xfinity Internet account, so players sharing an account will not be able to obtain more than one beta key. Code requests must be sent in by 11:59pm ET on Aug. 31 to be considered, and the promotion is only available for Xfinity Internet residents.
Xfinity is not offering any codes for Call of Duty: WWII’s PC version, either. Sledgehammer Games confirmed on Tuesday that WWII will receive a PC beta in the near future, meaning that PC fans should keep a close eye out for any further beta news. Call of Duty: WWII launches Nov. 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
