It’s that time of year again, Call of Duty fans—rostermania is about to begin.
The Call of Duty World League’s first roster movement period of the Black Ops 4 season began on March 1. The 16 teams in the 2019 CWL Pro League can officially make unlimited roster changes until 5pm CT on March 8.
Most of the top teams in the 2019 CWL Pro League aren’t expected to make any roster changes—but a few of the squads at the bottom of the standings could shake things up a bit heading into CWL Fort Worth on March 15.
This article will serve as a compilation of all the confirmed roster changes from major teams in the competitive Call of Duty scene.
Confirmed roster changes
Envoy joins Gen.G
Gen.G has replaced Michael “SpaceLy” Schmale with Dylan “Envoy” Hannon, the organization announced on March 12. Envoy, who previously played for Midnight Esports, will now compete alongside Chance “Maux” Moncivaez, Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak, Jared “Nagafen” Harrell, and Colt “Havok” McLendon.
Excelerate introduces its new lineup
Christopher “ProFeeZy” Astudillo, Mike “MRuiz” Ruiz, Eric “JetLi” Phan, Carson “Brack” Newberry, and Cesar “Skyz” Bueno have joined Excelerate, the organization announced on March 9. Most notably, ProFeeZy and MRuiz return to the organization after being dropped on March 6.
Midnight unveils its new roster
Christopher “Parasite” Duarte, Andres Lacefield, Rasim “Blazt” Ogresevic, and Renato “Saints” Forza have all joined Midnight Esports, the organization announced on March 8. These four players will team up with Devin “LlamaGod” Tran, according to Parasite.
Attach joins Evil Geniuses
Dillon “Attach” Price has joined Evil Geniuses on loan from FaZe Clan, the organization announced on March 8. He’ll be teaming with John “Xotic” Bruno, Tyler “FeLo” Johnson, Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim, and Matthew “Royalty” Faithfull.
Chino replaces Kade on Enigma6
Enigma6 announced on March 8 that Martin Chino is replacing Kade Jones. Chino will compete alongside Jordon General, Steven “Diabolic” Rivero, Matthew “KiSMET” Tinsley, and Bradley “Frosty” Bergstrom on E6.
Parzelion joins UYU
Former Midnight Esports player Saul “Parzelion” Masse-Siguenza has replaced Cesar “Skyz” Bueno on UYU, the CWL announced on March 7. Parzelion will now play alongside Mehran “Mayhem” Anjomshoa, Nicholas “Proto” Maldonado, Anthony “Methodz” Zinni, and Aidan “GorgoKnight” Provenzano.
SpaceLy becomes a restricted free agent
Michael “SpaceLy” Schmale tweeted on March 6 that he’s now a restricted free agent. This means that Chance “Maux” Moncivaez, Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak, Jared “Nagafen” Harrell, and Colt “Havok” McLendon will be looking for a new player on Gen.G heading into CWL Fort Worth.
Faccento retires from competitive Call of Duty
Brice Faccento officially hung up his controller on March 5. Evil Geniuses will now be looking for a new fifth player to compete alongside John “Xotic” Bruno, Tyler “FeLo” Johnson, Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim, and Matthew “Royalty” Faithfull.
Dylan joins Reciprocity’s starting lineup
Dylan Henderson has replaced Denholm “Denz” Taylor on Team Reciprocity’s starting roster, the organization announced on March 1. Dylan will now compete alongside Thomas “Tommey” Trewren, Bradley “Wuskin” Marshall, Sean “Seany” O’Connor, and Zach “Zed” Denyer. Denz, on the other hand, will remain with Reciprocity on the team’s bench.
