Of all of the intriguing locations you can find in Baldur’s Gate 3, Sharess’ Caress is certainly one of the stranger ones. It’s essentially a brothel that invites pleasure of all forms inside its doors.
As a part of the main story quest line in BG3 and in the Investigate the Murders quest, you will have to find Sharess’ Caress brothel. This only takes place in Act Three, with the brothel one of the first locations you can find after the events at Moonrise Towers.
Finding the Sharess’ Caress brothel in Baldur’s Gate 3
Sharess’ Caress location is to the north of the Rivington waypoint, past the circus, Open Hand Temple, and the main town. It is within the town of Rivington in Act Three of BG3
You will find it near the Span of Wyrm’s Crossing waypoint, which is right past the South Span Checkpoint. The guards are not nice and intend to take your gold and block you from passing through Wyrm’s Crossing.
How to get past the guards at Wyrm’s Crossing
These guards are some of the worst as they convince you they will let you through for a sum of gold and instead of honoring their word, they take your gold and do not let you through. To get past them, here are a list of things you can do:
- Jump: The path leading to the shoreline will lead to an area where the Jump ability is used to access some wooden balconies of houses that are attached to the bridge.
- Fight: When you choose the fight, you will be up against the guards and the Steel Watch, so make sure to position your party well before making the first move.
- Jailbreak: Pickpocket the guards to get arrested or break into a house. You will be taken to the prison that is beyond the bridge and be able to backtrack once you break out.
- Shapeshift: If you can shapeshift into an animal that can hop, slink or fly past the guards, you can get over Wyrm’s Crossing without any cost.
While Druids like Halsin and Jaheira would be perfect to shapeshift into a tiny animal to escape the guards, the best way to get past them is the little path near the shoreline if you are trying to keep all of your party intact.
After reaching the Span of Wyrm’s Crossing waypoint, Sharess’ Caress brothel will be the building the waypoint is attached to.
Exact location of Sharess’ Caress in BG3
If you look on your map, you will see the waypoint is attached to a building with red floors. You can walk up to the front door of this building, head inside, and you’ll be treated by the “Sharess’ Caress” text at the top of your screen.
Inside, you can talk with the woman behind the desk to your right to get the lay of the land and continue on with your BG3 quests in the brothel.
