There are any number of possible outcomes in Baldur’s Gate 3 depending on how you decide to play the game, but Larian Studios left out one potential cutscene that a certain fan couldn’t live without, so they made it themselves.
Using their own tech savvy, one gamer created a video and posted it to social media that might be the greatest piece of BG3 fan-generated content since the recreation of the Friends introduction, and it was the exact video that none of us knew we needed in our lives—Withers dancing with Raphael to EDM.
That’s right, someone created a video of everyone’s favorite bag of bones doing a dance to “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada with the egomaniacal Cambion Raphael serving as his partner.
The artistic genius seems to have been made possible by this particular fan taking some liberties to what is supposed to be a romance scene between the companion Wyll and the player character. In the scene, as it happens in the game, players notice Wyll practicing his dance moves by the fire. Wyll then encourages the player to join in, and if you hit the right dice rolls, you can show off some elegance of your own.
It looks like this fan was able to replace those character models in a graphics program to make Withers the player character and replace Wyll with Raphael. Add in the sultry sound of Natalie Horler’s voice over an electronic beat, and you’ve got yourself a certified top-tier meme for the ages.
