All current Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch drops and how to earn them

Baldur’s Gate 3’s launch coincided with a special Twitch drops campaign to help players celebrate the occasion in style.

For a limited time, players were able to earn cosmetics by watching certain streamers play the game on the Amazon-owned platform, and it was easy to do.

All Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch drops rewards

A purple Twitch-themed camp clothing set from Baldur’s Gate 3 could be earned from the drops campaign, which only changes your character’s appearance. It’s comprised of:

• Streamhopper Loafers
• Channeler’s Trunks
• Periwinkle Undergarments
• Chatterbox’s Tabard

While players can get camp clothing outside of the Twitch drops event, these specific cosmetics were exclusive to the Twitch drops campaign. You didn’t need to have a Baldur’s Gate 3 copy to earn the cosmetics, but you’ll want to make sure you have a Larian account linked up for any future drop campaigns.

How to earn Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Drops

You could earn Twitch drops by connecting your Twitch and Larian accounts and watching two hours of a Baldur’s Gate 3 stream that has drops activated.

The initial drop campaign in Baldur’s Gate 3 ran from Aug. 3 to Aug. 17, with the same drop rewards then available again from Sept. 7 to Sept. 21. Currently, there are no drop campaigns for Baldur’s Gate 3 running on Twitch.

Whenever there is a drop campaign, you can follow these steps to claim your drops:

1. Create or log into your Larian account.
2. In the Larian account menu, click on Connected Accounts.
3. Link your Larian account to your Steam or GOG account, depending on where you purchased your game, by clicking these platforms’ icons in the new tab. Allow all requests.
4. Link your Larian account to your Twitch account in the Connected Accounts tab. Allow all requests.
5. Watch two hours of Baldur’s Gate 3 on a Twitch channel with drops enabled.
6. On Twitch, click your profile picture on the top right of the screen.
7. On the drop-down menu, click Drops & Rewards.
8. Claim the Reward in the Inventory tab.
9. Log into Baldur’s Gate 3 and get the items from your Camp Chest.

Are Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch drops worth it?

Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Drops are worth it because they are exclusive rewards from a limited-time campaign. From a fan and collector’s perspective, that makes these drops very valuable since it’s unclear if Larian and Twitch will ever collaborate again to bring these items back to the game.

What makes these items even rarer is that Larian promised Baldur’s Gate 3 will have no microtransactions on purchases with real money, which means this is one of the few opportunities you had to get an item from outside the game.

From a gameplay perspective, they are useless because they do not provide any bonus effect to your character’s Ability Scores or overall build. All Twitch drops are purely cosmetic items you use for fun.
