Legendary Havoc skin in Apex Legends’ Battle Pass is the first reactive weapon skin in the game

You can unlock its new stages by eliminating players in matches.

The new Apex Legends Battle Pass is free of secrets. Players know it costs 950 Apex Coins, that they have to play in order to unlock rewards for each one of its 100 levels, and that they can even buy Battle Pass levels if they need to.

The only bonus information regarding Battle Pass rewards that developer Respawn Entertainment gave to players is that the level 100 Legendary Havoc skin is the game’s first “three-stage evolving Legendary weapon skin.” A developer that goes by the name Leeeeeee on Reddit revealed that information yesterday.

“As you get more kills (within the match), its eyes glow and its nostrils emit smoke, etc,” the developer said. The other details about the skin simply mentioned as “etc” have yet to be discovered by players, but they seem to be mostly related to visual effects. The developer just said players can make a “green nostril flare” show up while using it, and that they recommend “ironsight for flexing during late game kill feeds, the smoke blasting and eyes glowing in ADS looks amazing.”

This skin reacts first after one elimination, then after three and five. Players can check a preview of the variations by hovering over it in the Battle Pass in-game tab.

It’s unclear for now how often Respawn will make new Legendary weapons skins like this one. At least from a Battle Pass, this new Havoc skin is the only one that players will be able to see in the game until season two debuts on June 18.
