The team at PUBG Corp. is currently “heavily focusing” on the PC 1.0 and Xbox Game Preview builds, it stated in a new blog post. In order for that to happen before the end of 2017, new features like the vaulting and climbing update will need to be tested for at least one month. Test servers will be utilized at least three times over the course of the next few months.

No exact release date for vaulting and climbing was given. But the post promised it would be coming “first in late October or early November,” meaning players would finally be able to test out the new mechanic some time in the next two to three weeks.

The current test server operation plan for PUBG Corp. is to roll it out in three phases. The first phase will be to focus on testing vaulting and climbing. The second phase will do more of the same but also test other new content and features, like new vehicles and a 3D replay system. The third and final phase will include all new content, plus the brand new desert map.

PUBG Corp. stated that the testing period for all of the new content will need to be at least two to four weeks. “Tt will be very difficult for us to provide a stable service if we rush updates to lie servers after short bursts of testing,” according to the post so the test servers will be heavily utilized.

In addition the SA, SEA, and OCE servers will now be able to play FFP Squads, the most popular mode in the game since its addition.
