One of the most controversial Counter-Strike: Global Offensive swaps of the year went down earlier today, and it involves two internationally renowned star players from the CIS region.
Natus Vincere has decided to officially replace Denis “seized” Kostin with FlipSid3 Tactics star player Denis “electronic” Sharipov. Electronic will immediately join the active Na’Vi roster, while seized will be on loan to F3 for two months and for the Boston Major Qualifier in January. Following his temporary period with FlipSid3, seized will either enter the free agent market or sign with the organization.

Seized stepped down from Na`Vi’s active roster last month, supposedly due to internal issues with the team. Na`Vi apparently set a lot of expectations for the roster, and it became apparent that seized was cracking under the pressure because of his poor performances.
“This decision was made based on the atmosphere within the team, which was not very productive for either me or the team. Thus the changes were necessary,” seized said in Na’Vi’s roster announcement. This trade marks the end of seized’s four year tenure under the Na’Vi banner.
The trade negotiations regarding seized and electronic were very extensive, as FlipSid3 was reluctant to trade their high-caliber talent in favor of seized, according to both Na’Vi CEO Yevhen Zolotarov and F3 founder Hector Rosario.
With these changes, the Na’Vi CS:GO active roster now consists of electronic, Daniil “Zeus” Teslenko, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev, and Egor “flamie” Vasilev.
Electronic’s first matches with Na’Vi will take place this week in Na’Vi’s ESL Pro League matches against North and FaZe Clan.
