Though many of us may still be clearing out season two content, the third season of the expansion is on the horizon now that Patch 10.2 has been announced. With the new patch, players will be able to once again reset their raid progress in Amirdrassil, the new nine-boss instance, as well as begin to climb up the Mythic+ ladder in a totally new set of dungeons.

Dragonflight season two similarly brought both a new raid and zone. Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible brought players to Neltharion’s underground hidden laboratory while the underground Zaralek Cavern served as a sprawling new questing zone. Next season, we’ll be going straight into one of WoW’s most historic zones: the Emerald Dream.

Here’s what waits for us inside of the new season, as well as the release date for Dragonflight season three.

Does WoW Dragonflight season three have a release date?

Dragonflight season three will launch on Nov. 14, 2023, one week after the launch of Patch 10.2. As is tradition, North American players will enjoy the new season a bit earlier than the European fans. While the new season will start on Tuesday, Nov. 14, for NA, in EU that will be Nov. 15.

Patch 10.2 will be another massive update and the last patch that Dragonflight receives until 2024. In the patch, players will be able to enter a new raid, Amirdrassil, as well as tackle a refreshed Mythic+ dungeon pool head-on.

As Blizzard does not seem keen to leave the Dragon Isles just yet, we can likely expect further updates in 2024 before we potentially get to see the next possible expansion.
