Set to lose their Major spot, Immortals have suffered yet another blow in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The organization forfeited their remaining matches in ECS season four yesterday after being unable to field an eligible roster from their registered lineup. Since every player previously on the Immortals’ active roster aren’t playing for the organization anymore, they’ve given every team in the 10-team league two free wins.

“Due to being unable to play with more than 60 percent of their original roster Immortals have forfeited all of their ECS maps,” ECS said on Twitter yesterday.
Originally, Immortals began ECS season four in October with Vito “kNg” Giuseppe, Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, Henrique “HEN1” Teles, Ricardo “boltz” Prass, and Lucas “steel” Lopes. But after a period of controversy involving kNg, LUCAS1, and HEN1 escalated to the point of their departure from the active roster, boltz and steel were the remaining players. Steel was then transferred to Team Liquid a month later, after the North American squad decided to move Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz to the bench.
Immortals’ roster now entirely of up-and-coming Brazilian players: João “horvy” Horvath, Lucas “destinyy” Bullo, Caio “zqk” Fonseca, and Bruno “shz” Martinelli.
The only remaining components from the initial roster are boltz, who has been attending events as a loaned stand-in for SK Gaming, and coach Rafael “zakk” Fernandes. Boltz is expected to sign with SK following the Boston Major in January, replacing João “felps” Vasconcellos on two-time Major-winning roster.
Immortals will be relegated to the promotion league as a result of their 0-18 win-loss record.
