XDefiant has burst on the scene in hopes of luring CoD fans away from the iconic FPS game. And that may actually happen after the new Ubisoft free-to-play shooter has surpassed many fans’ expectations during its closed beta period and begins its open beta.
Fans have commented on the game’s old-school feel while praising its gunplay, movement, and amount of content. But as with all good things, the XDefiant open beta will come to an end eventually.
The open beta began on Wednesday, June 21 for all players, with those who played the closed beta getting access a day earlier. But the question is, when does the XDefiant open beta end?
XDefiant open beta exact end date and time
The XDefiant Open Session will end on Friday, June 23—if you’re in the Pacific time zone. Ubisoft revealed that the beta will end at 11pm PDT on June 23, which means many players will actually be able to play the beta until the early hours of the morning of Saturday, June 24.
For those looking for a time conversion, 11pm PDT on June 23 equates to the following times:
- 12am MDT
- 1am CDT
- 2am EDT
- 7am BST
- 8am CEST
At those times, the XDefiant servers will shut off, ending the beta.

We do not yet have any concrete information on when XDefiant will officially launch other than its window of “summer 2023” or if there will be another beta before launch, so be sure to play as much as you can before the current beta ends.
