Faccento joins a team that placed top eight at the CWL Las Vegas Open earlier in the month, and he’ll replace Renato “Saints” Forza, who’s been seen practicing with Pittsburgh Knights.

After Echo Fox disbanded its Call of Duty team in October, Faccento joined G2 Esports. The team, despite having some experienced players, failed to win a match in pool play at CWL Las Vegas. With two wins in bracket play, they were able to finish with a top 16 placing.

The disappointing performance at the event prompted G2 to make roster changes. The organization acquired Anthony “Methodz” Zinni and Andres Lacefield on Dec. 21, replacing Faccento and Richard “Ricky” Stacy in the process.

Fortunately for both Faccento and Ricky, it seems like they’ve found new professional teams to compete with. Ricky, similarly to Saints, has been practicing with Knights lately, although Pittsburgh has made no official roster moves yet.

Faccento and Evil Geniuses will compete in the 28-team CWL Pro League qualifier event in January, which will determine the final 12 teams in Call of Duty’s premier league.
