Soon enough, players will be able to travel to new locations in addition to the main journey, starting later this year.

Just like with the Sword and Shield DLC, SV will have two distinct pieces of content coming down the pipeline over the next year. These will contain plenty of new additions such as more Pokémon to battle and capture, along with expanded story beats for what many fans think is the best story in the franchise thus far.

Part 1: The Teal Mask will see players take part in a school trip and travel to the nature-focused land of Kitakami. Once there, players will be involved in a local festival and unravel various mysteries surrounding folklore and the new Pokémon Monkidori, Okidogi, Fezandipiti, and Ogerpon.

Meanwhile, Part 2: The Indigo Disk will focus more on the story players already know from the base game and expand on it, including an encounter with the Legendary Terapagos—which players might recognize from some of the historical texts.

But while players wait for that, a new Tera Raid event featuring two new Paradox Pokémon based on Suicune and Virizion. Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are available now in five-star Tera Raids, so players can grab them right away.
