Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived, bringing with it a full suite of game modes for players to sink their teeth into each week.

Every now and then at the very least, Infinity Ward will inject new game modes into the playlists to keep things fresh. Some modes might be removed for a week or so before being added back in while others take the spotlight for a while.

The Quick Play playlist will be a staple, allowing players to filter which modes they want to play, but there will also be featured playlists of some of the other different modes that Call of Duty currently has to offer. When new modes are added during seasonal events or for special periods, those will likely be featured as well outside of Quick Play.

Here are the details on what to expect when you hop online this week.

Players enjoying Modern Warfare 2 have access to featured playlists like Quick Play, Search and Destroy, Prisoner Rescue, and Knock Out. In the Quick Play playlist, you can choose from multiple modes using the filter.

CoD fans can expect to see more game modes being added over time each week. We recommend checking Call of Duty and Infinity Ward‘s official Twitter pages to see which playlists and modes are rotated and updated during Modern Warfare 2.
