At long last, Pikmin 4 is upon us after nearly a decade after the release of Pikmin 3. Pikmin 4 was announced during a Nintendo Direct event in Sept. 2022, but it was only during a new Direct event in June 2023 that fans were able to take a deeper look at the title and find out more about the sequel’s upcoming gameplay.
On top of that, Nintendo finally revealed the release date for Pikmin 4. And the release is so close you and I should start saving some money to afford it when the day comes.
Pikmin 4‘s release date
Pikmin 4 is set to come out on July 21, according to a Nintendo Direct event on June 21. The game will only be available for Nintendo Switch and there’s no other option to play it rather than buying a copy.
You can pre-order a digital or physical copy for $59.99 on Nintendo’s eShop.
If you’re interested in taking a peek at Pikmin 4 before pre-ordering or buying it on the release day, we highly recommend you watch the trailer below. You also have the option to download the Pikmin 4 demo from June 28 onwards for free on your Switch’s eShop.
