The developing studios each announced on Twitter they were aware of players being unable to connect to the Vanguard and Warzone servers. The studios said they will provide players with an update on the situation when they can.

While the developers have acknowledged that there are widespread problems, Activision has not listed these reported issues on its Online Services page. Activision’s Support Twitter account has tweeted that it is “actively investigating” the problems in “multiple” CoD titles, however.

CoD faced similar issues albeit on a larger scale on Aug. 4 when a nationwide server outage prevented fans from playing pretty much any modern CoD game online. Gamers on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC all reported they had trouble connecting to games ranging from Black Ops 3 to Vanguard. The issues also caused a lengthy delay during the 2022 Call of Duty League Championship, which was the final tournament of the season played on Vanguard.

This is a breaking news story with more details to follow. Updates will be added as soon as possible.
