But strategies don’t work the same way every day, and there are times when you may find yourself stuck with a couple of letters and no idea where to go next. To narrow down the list, there are a few things you can do. The first is to observe the position of the “LO”—if you know the letters are together in the word, you must also know exactly where. You can also pay attention to letters that came out gray or yellow in previous guesses because they may provide valuable information. Another thing you must keep in mind is that Wordle will never pick a plural form as the answer to a puzzle, so plurals should be avoided if you’re running low on guesses.
