Dr DisRespect is holding a $20,000 Fortnite tournament

The Fortnite tournament is being held in collaboration with Esports Arena.

Twitch streamer Guy “Dr DisRespect” Beahm is hosting a $20,000 Fortnite: Battle Royale tournament. Dr Disrespect announced the tournament this afternoon. “20k #CodeRedLive Fortnite tournament,” Dr DisRespect tweeted today. “Nov. 8!”

The event will be held in collaboration with Esports Arena, starting on Nov. 8 at 3pm CT. Dr DisRespect has held other Code Red events for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout.

Details on the tournament’s participants weren’t immediately available, though Dr DisRespect typically brings in a variety of well-known streamers and professional players for his events. Like with other events, the Code Red Fortnite event will likely be streamed on Boom.tv.

It’s the latest big Fortnite tournament since the Fall Skirmish championship at TwitchCon last week. During that event, Dennis “Cloak” Lepore and Turner “Tfue” Tenney earned the winning title and the $400,000 grand prize.
