While Battlefield Mobile will be released for both Android and iOS devices, the alpha test will be open to only Android users in the four countries. Players in these countries who want to get an invite to test out the game should pre-register for it on the Google Play Store.

This isn’t the first test for Battlefield Mobile. In late 2021, the developer released the first alpha in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Besides this, an alpha test was also done in India last March.

Battlefield Mobile is a standalone title for mobile devices which will have modes and maps from across the franchise, which includes the Conquest mode and the Grand Bazaar map. Players will have a choice between various classes like Assault, Support, Medic, and Recon and a wide range of equipment to create a loadout. The first-person shooter will offer fast-paced action similar to the Battlefield series on consoles and PC.

A release date for the game hasn’t been revealed yet. During the Q4 2022 earnings call for Electronic Arts, Andrew Wilson, the CEO of the company, said that a global launch could happen towards the end of the year or in early 2023.
