Overwatch 2’s PvP beta will become available tomorrow, June 28 at 1pm CT, giving players a chance to try out the game before its full release. Players will get access to the beta on a rolling basis, and you need to opt-in or order the Overwatch 2: Waypoint Pack to get a chance to play the beta.

Access to the beta will include a larger wave of accounts getting in around July 5, and Blizzard’s intention is to give all players who have opted in no later than July 14.

When will the Overwatch 2 Beta end?

The current Overwatch 2 PvP Beta is scheduled to end on July 18. Players’ progress in the beta won’t carry over to the official release. The PvP beta is available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation players.

If you’ve signed up for the beta and still haven’t received an invite, know that the invites aren’t all going out at once. While the beta end date is set for July 18, Blizzard said it may be “extended based on what our testing needs are at that time.”

This second round of beta testing follows a round in April and May that debuted a new character and game mode. This round will include the freshly introduced tank character Junker Queen and a hybrid map Rio.
