Crimson Vow, the second half of Innistrad in Magic: The Gathering Standard, brought about a total of 64 Rare and 20 Mythic Rare cards, containing a number of fun variations worth money.
A digital launch for Innistrad: Crimson Vow (VOW) took place on Nov. 11, followed by the global release on Nov. 19. The MTG set features several types of booster fun variations, from fang Showcase frames to borderless and extended art. A majority of card prices fell heading into the 2022 fall rotation, but some began to rise again leading up to the Magic World Championship and the release of The Brothers’ War (BRO).
Skyrocketing in value heading into the fall rotation were the Innistrad: Double Feature foil versions, with several priced at around $100. Prices of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Double Feature cards also spiked in value, showcasing The Meathook Massacre at around $250, where it remains despite the Enchantment getting banned in the Standard format.
Leading up to the release of Phyrexia: All Will Be One, many of the VOW cards have maintained their value.
From dragons and beasts to vampire nobles and planeswalkers, here are the VOW cards worth money, according to prices from MTGGoldfish, TCGPlayer, and MTGStocks. All prices are subject to change.
Updates will take place following set releases and major tournaments.
Toxrill, the Corrosive
Toxrill, the Corrosive is a powerful legendary slug horror that has seen a good amount of gameplay in the Commander format. With the Proliferate mechanic returning to Standard through ONE, it’s possible the legendary creature could rise in value and popularity within the format.
- Double Feature: $90 to $110
- Prerelease foil: $25
- Showcase foil: $19 to $21
- Regular: $18
Chandra, Dressed to Kill
Returning to the Standard format in the MID set was the planeswalker, Chandra. Her Chandra, Dressed to Kill card took off in Pioneer and Commander formats, along with Standard too in certain Mono-Red builds. Her overall value dipped hard after the release of SNC and DMU, but the Double Feature foil version is still worth almost $100.
- Double Feature: $85 to $105
- Prerelease foil: $24 to $25
- Borderless: $15
- Regular: $11 to $12
Cultivator Colossus
Cultivator Colossus is an expensive Mono-Green creature that has seen a good amount of play in Commander. The plant beast has also slotted into the Modern build Amulet Titan and other various builds. Cultivator Colossus has also defied trends, maintaining its price past rotation and heading into the release of ONE.
- Double Feature: $80 to $85
- Extended foil: $30
- Prerelease foil: $22
- Extended non-foil: $20 to $22
- Regular: $16
Sorin the Mirthless
Sorin the Mirthless has seen gameplay in Standard Constructed decks and has slotted into a variety of Commander builds as well. He also gets played in Pioneer. The Double Feature version of Sorin the Mirthless is the highest, followed closely by its Showcase version.

Avabruck Caretaker//Hollowhenge Huntmaster
Avabruck Caretaker didn’t blow up Standard with the digital launch of VOW, but the human werewolf has consistently maintained its value. Often played in the Commander format and Historic Brawl on MTG Arena, the werewolf has an Innistrad: Double Feature version valued above $50.
- Double Feature: $42 to $48
- Extended foil: $12 to $15
- Prerelease foil: $11
- Regular: $7 to $8
Wedding Announcement//Wedding Festivity
Wedding Announcement//Wedding Festivity skyrocketed in popularity after rotation, primarily played in Mono-White Standard and Pioneer builds. The Enchantments value also rose following the release of DMU while it maintained the spike through the BRO launch.

- Extended non-foil: $10
- Prerelease foil: $10
- Regular $9
Necroduality
Necroduality, a Mythic Rare Enchantment, makes a copy of a non-token zombie when it enters the battlefield. The Enchantment improved jank zombie builds in Standard for a time being until the meta tossed it astray. It’s also had a major impact on the Commander and Pioneer formats.
- Double Feature: $40 to $45
- Extended foil: $16 to $17
- Prerelease foil: $14
- Regular: $11
Hallowed Haunting
Hallowed Haunting is a four-drop VOW Enchantment that supports tribal Enchantment builds. It was valued at around $5. It saw a slight increase due to the Enchantment support in the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set that grew its value to around $9. But Hallowed Haunting has dropped slightly since, heading into the launch of ONE.
- Double Feature: $40

- Extended foil: $12
- Regular: $7 to $8
Hullbreaker Horror
Synergizing with Control decks looking for a strong finisher, Hullbreaker Horror is a seven-drop 7/8 with modal abilities upon casting a spell. A Standard MTG ban of Divide by Zero hurt Hullbreaker Horror, causing it to dip in value. The Kraken horror is still popular within the Commander and Pioneer formats, though.
- Double Feature: $60 to $65
- Extended foil: $14 to $15
- Prerelease foil: $8 to $9
- Regular: $2 to $3

- Showcase foil: $18 to $20
- Prerelease foil: $11
- Regular: $6 to $7
