Rogue gains a new spell in the latest Hearthstone card revealed from The Witchwood expansion coming sometime in April.
Cheap Shot is another The Witchwood card with the new keyword, Echo. For two mana, Cheap Shot deals two damage to a minion, but with Echo, this effect can stack up to deal 10 damage at 10 mana. You can either split up the damage to take down multiple minions or just nuke a high-health minion.
Cheap Shot would fit well into a Miracle Rogue deck since it has great synergy with cards like Gadgetzan Auctioneer. The ability to cast this multiple times in a turn grants you great board clear because, unlike Backstab, the minion doesn’t have to be undamaged.
Although Miracle Rogue isn’t a common deck in the current meta, there have been a few spells already revealed for Rogue that may hint at its return. With some more help in the new expansion, the deck may see some play again.
