With six spots available in the end of season playoffs, the top four teams in the European LCS have now secured their place. Current league leaders H2k-Gaming, G2 Esports and Vitality, all level with 11-3 records, have booked their spot. The 9-5 Unicorns of Love, who finished second to Fnatic in last season’s Spring Playoffs, have also qualified.

With four games left of the regular season only Giants Gaming are out of the race, after a dismal season with just two victories so far.

2015 World Championships semi-finalists Fnatic and Origen will secure the final two places with victories next week—though Origen will need to beat Fnatic in their second game to clinch the place.

The top two teams at the end of the split will skip the quarter final stage, and the three leading sides will be favourites to claim the byes. After back to back 1-1 weeks that allowed Vitality to make up ground, H2k and G2 were able to go undefeated this week with victories over Fnatic, Giants, Elements and Origen respectively.

Giants and fellow strugglers Roccat, Splyce and Elements will be favorites for the bottom three spots—the teams that end up at the foot of the table will have to play for their spot in the next Split by entering the Summer Promotion tournament.

Though four spots in the playoffs are now decided the standings are tight at the top and bottom of the table, meaning fans can look forward to a thrilling climax to the first season of 2016.
