MLG Finals Group Play Rosters

The final rosters for all the Call of Duty teams headed to the MLG Finals have been released. Teams lucky enough to have earned enough pro points have the opportunity to skip the open bracket and begin the tournament in Group Play.

The MLG Finals will be Major League Gaming’s 100th event and also their largest. A total of $500,000 will be on the line across Call of Duty, DOTA 2, Smite, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Melee, with $250,000 of it being awarded to the top placing Call of Duty teams. This makes the MLG World Finals the second largest Call of Duty event of the year, only behind the $1,000,000 Call of Duty Championship.

OpTic Nation – Nameless, Mirx, Ricky, MBoze

Team Kaliber – Sharp, Neslo, Theory, Apathy

Of the 12 North American teams that qualified, only 3 rosters remain the same from the last MLG event, the Season 3 Pro League Finals. These teams include Optic Gaming and Faze Clan, the two most decorated teams across Advanced Warfare, and Isolation Empire.

Europe:

Millenium – Gotaga, Mooseman, Rated, Reedy

Team Vitality – Tommey, Joee, MadCat, Swanny

No surprises here, these are the top 3 European Call of Duty teams at the moment, after the move of TCM Gaming to the United States and the dissipation of Epsilon’s European roster.

Australia/New Zealand

Citadel Gaming – Hoju95, victimAdaM, Caaarry, Lakie

Noticeably missing from this very short list is MindFreak, who have been Australia’s most dominant Call of Duty team all year long and placed in the money at the Call of Duty Championship. The team does not feel up-to-par for MLG Finals and plan to focus on Black Ops 3 upon release.
