Gul’dan of the Stormreaver Clan was a former Orcish Shaman of the Shadowmoon Clan from Draenor who became the first Orcish Warlock as well as the founder of the Orcish Horde. Abandoning the ways of Shamanism and betraying both his people and his mentor to the demon-lord Kil’jaeden for personal gain and power, Gul’dan was directly responsible for the orcs’ fall to demonic enslavement as well as for the Horde’s invasion of Azeroth.
Tutored by the lord of the Burning Legion, he became the founder and master of the Shadow Council as well as the creator of the necromantic terrors known as Death-Knights. Gul’dan is considered by many to have been the most cunning and powerful mortal Warlock to ever have existed. He often referred to himself as “Darkness Incarnate” and “The Destroyer of Dreams”.
Gul’Dan was torn to shreds by a swarm of insane demons that had been unleashed as he opened the Tomb Of Sargeras. After Gul’dan died, his skull was turned into a channeling totem for demonic energy. A small shard of Gul’dan’s soul remained within the bleached bone of the skull, where he whispered to whomever held it; the Warlock proved to still be dangerous, even in death. Gul’dan was effectively revived when Garrosh used a time portal to Draenor of the past to give characters of that time access to Azeroth via the Dark Portal.
He is voiced by Troy Baker in Warlords of Draenor.
Lord Jaraxxus
Lord Jaraxxus is an Eredar lord of the Burning Legion. Little is known of him as he was accidentally summoned by Grand Warlock Wilfred Fizzlebang as he tried to summon a doomguard. He is the second encounter of the Trial of the Crusader raid instance in World Of Warcraft. Jaraxxus killed Fizzlebang for his efforts.
Wilfred Fizzlebang
Wilfred Fizzlebang is a Warlock gnome that appears in the Crusaders’ Coliseum in the Trial of the Crusader instance. Little is know of him as well. In the instance, he attempts to summon a doomguard for the next challenge. He accidentally summons Lord Jaraxxus instead, who promptly kills him.
Mal’Ganis
Mal’Ganis was one of the Nathrezim sent by Archimonde as a jailor of the Lich King. He was chosen to head up the plot to turn Prince Arthas to darkness, and make him the Lich King’s greatest champion. However, Mal’Ganis was betrayed and Arthas defeated the dreadlord and believed him to be slain. Recent discoveries have shown that this is not the case. Mal’Ganis is still alive — under the guise of Barean Westwind — and has taken over control of the Scarlet Onslaught, much like Balnazzar had done with the original Scarlet Crusade. He stood in seclusion in Onslaught Harbor until agents from the Knights of the Ebon Blade forced him to show his true identity and flee back to his homeworld where he would gather his strength and build forces to revenge the traitorous Lich King and the adventurers that discovered him.
