Chenglong “Nyjacky” Wang, former mid laner for Team Curse, announced via Twitter that he will be starting for Team Liquid.
Nyjacky hasn’t played in the North American League Championship Series since the 2013 Summer Playoffs, where Team Curse went out in sixth place. After an unsuccessful run with Team LoLPro in the 2014 Challenger Series, Nyjacky became a substitute and streamer for both Team Liquid and Team Liquid Academy.
With Team Liquid currently sitting at the bottom of LCS standings, the organization has been ready to make moves, announcing earlier this week that new players would be trying out for the team and role swaps could be a possibility.
At the time of writing this article, Liquid has not confirmed or denied Nyjacky’s tweet.
