CompLexity Gaming, NRG Esports, Rogue Gaming, eUnited, Team Dignitas, and Swole Patrol will be representing the NA region at the Americas Minor from July 7 to 11 in London. They’ll be joining South American contenders Nao Tem Como (NTC) and Furia Esports in the team pool for the offline event.

CoL and NRG swept the Swiss format qualifier with 3-0 records, earning them the first two seeds in the regional Minor. In their run, CoL took down Mythic, Dignitas, and Ghost Gaming, while NRG beat Freedom 35, Luminosity Gaming, and Rogue. CoL went undefeated throughout the entire qualifier, thanks to new pickups Peter “stanislaw” Jarguz and Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan.

Rogue, eUnited, and Dignitas finished with 3-1 records. They’ll be the third, fourth, and fifth seeds in the Americas Minor.

Swole Patrol, on the other hand, just barely qualified over Brazilian hopefuls Luminosity Gaming and Team One. Because only six teams advance, the sixth place spot was determined by map win-loss records and round differential. This is a much bigger difference than a typical 16 team Swiss format, which allows eight teams to move on.

Other notable teams that didn’t make the cut for the Minor include Boxr (ex-Splyce), Ghost Gaming, and Mythic. Boxr and Ghost had 2-3 records, while Mythic didn’t win a single match at an 0-3 record. Ghost’s losses were excusable though, because the team was playing with coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay instead of Josh “steel” Nissan—due to steel’s ban from Valve Majors.

The European closed qualifier will be the next set of qualifiers for the London Major. It’ll be held online this weekend from June 29 to July 1.
