The list of anime-inspired units and raids in Anime Vanguard just got bigger with Update 0.5. It added Demon Slayer-themed units, a new raid game mode, a new boss, new shops, and new evolutions. You’ll be able to farm the new currency and exchange it for items.
Everything new in Anime Vanguards Update 0.5
The tower defense Roblox game Anime Vanguards received a smaller update before Update 1.0, and even added codes you can redeem: SLAYER to celebrate the new update and LATEUPDATESORRY for the delay in releasing the update.
All Anime Vanguards Update 0.5 new units
There are six new units based on Demon Slayer characters, including the exclusive Rengoku. The other units vary from Mythic to Legendary and Epic. Here are all the new units added with Update 0.5:
- Rengoku (exclusive)
- Akazo (Mythic)
- Tengon (Mythic)
- Takarada (Legendary)
- Bean (Legendary)
- Blossom (Epic)
The devs also added three evolutions from this list: Renguko (Purgatory), Tengon (Flashiness), and Akazo (Destructive).
The Spider Forest Raid and Red Webs
The new Raid game mode is based on the Spider Forest from episodes 15 to 21 where Tanjiro fights one of the 12 Demon moons for the first time. There you can unlock Rengokuearn Red Webs, the currency used in the new raid shop.
The raid shop offers Evolution items such as the Slayer’s Cape, the Nichirin Cleavers, and Demon Beads, plus Fortnute Catalyst for the Spider Forest and Trait Rerolls.
New boss event
The new exclusive boss event will put players face to face Igros, The Blood Red Commander in Traitless Mode. Igros is based on Igris from Solo Leveling. You’ll receive several rewards including Commander Tokens during the 14-day boss event and can spend them in the boss shop to buy rerolls, emotes, and more.
More additions and quality of life improvements
Update 0.5 also brings two new achievements—“Behold, my Arachnid Exterminator” and “Battle Against an Elite Knight”— and one title—“Blood-Red Commander.” You’ll also find two new emotes, California Gurls and Blood-Red Commander.
The quality of live improvements includes a trophy shop for trophies obtained in the Boss Event, a revamp to the Unit Manager UI, a new Stage Info UI, new profile options with banners, backgrounds, and your leaderboard position, the possibility to toggle the automatic use of unit abilities, and several bug fixes.
After Update 0.5 was released, players encountered several bugs that made the game almost unplayable, and the devs had to quickly ship more bug fixes involving the new stuff from the update, such as summons being able to deal damage to shielded enemies multiple times.
