Another day, another game of LoLdle—the daily puzzle game where you’re given a single League of Legends voice quote with your job being to match it to the correct champion. With so many champions in League, there are definitely some quotes that will trip you up!
I don’t think today will be one of those days, unfortunately, but in case you’re struggling I’m here to lend a hand. Here’s the solution for the quote “Exterminate, exterminate” in LoLdle.
Who says, ‘Exterminate. Exterminate,’ in LoL?
The LoLdle quote on Sept. 20 is, “Exterminate. Exterminate.” The League champion who says this line is Blitzcrank.
Hayley was given an easy round of LoLdle yesterday, but today it was my turn—and I too nailed the puzzle, but not because I’m a big Blitzcrank main! The phrase “Exterminate, exterminate” has common references to something robotic or an android, and given Blitzcrank is a reanimated mech golem flowing with Hextech power, it seemed the perfect champ for the quote.
The Great Steam Golem is one of just a few “mech” champs in League, but there are other champs that have mech references or skin lines like the PROJECT set. That said, we know LoLdle only uses base quotes for League champs, so that ruled out most of the alternate options off the bat.
Blitzcrank spams this voice line whenever he attacks, so if you’ve played the champ before, you’ve almost certainly heard it. With a 7.2 percent pick rate and a ridiculous 24 percent ban rate—the fifth highest of all champs—according to stats site U.GG, his presence thanks to his Rocket Grab skill shot hook has been high for ages: Who doesn’t like landing a hook?
Here’s hoping tomorrow’s LoLdle presents more of a challenge!
