If you’re struggling to connect to a Deadlock game or want to make sure the servers are online when you’re trying to play during a playtest, there are a few ways to check. It won’t be too difficult to find this information, and after a glance, you should be able to tell if Valve took the servers down. The Deadlock servers won’t always be up because Valve is rolling out various playtests for the game, but they only last for particular times.

Valve has not reported any issues with the Deadlock servers, and they should be running effectively. If there’s a more immediate or widespread problem, we’ll update this article with the latest information. Still, everything looks fine right now as long as Deadlock is available in your country. For a more extensive look at the Valve servers powering Deadlock, you can head to the Steam Status page to see if everything is OK.

If you’re having trouble connecting to the Deadlock servers, it’s possible they have not arrived in your location, and you’ll need to wait until they’re unlocked. Here’s a full breakdown of the Deadlock server times as they roll out for the current playtests. They do vary for every region.

Region and time zoneAvailable server times and dates
Asia (JST)Monday to Thursday: 4pm to 4am
Friday to Sunday: 12pm to 4am
Europe (BST)Monday to Thursday: 2pm to 2am
Friday to Sunday: 10am to 2am
North America (CT)Monday to Thursday: 4pm to 5am

Oceania (AEST)Monday to Thursday: 2pm to 2am
Friday to Sunday: 10am to 2am
South America (BRT)Monday to Thursday: 4pm to 4am

If you’re attempting to connect to the Deadlock servers outside of these times based on your local region, the servers will not work for you. They’ll prevent you from entering the game, and you’ll need to wait until they unlock. If these times change or become more readily available, we’ll adjust this list to provide better information. If you’re looking to change regions, there’s a way you can do that so you can play in a specific time zone rather than your default one.
