These drops are available to anyone who wants to grab them in anticipation of playing Smite 2, but you’ll need Smite 2 account to earn the rewards. You’ll need this account to redeem the game and receive the items in-game. If you don’t have a Smite 2 account, and you’re still playing the first Smite, you can still earn rewards.

For those playing Smite 2, there are three rewards you can get by watching Smite creators on Twitch. If you’re looking to focus on getting your Twitch account set up, there are a few things you’ll need to do to prepare. The Smite 2 Twitch rewards campaign for the closed alpha goes from Aug. 27 to Sept. 17.

  1. Sync your Twitch and Smite 2 with one another. You can do this by heading over to Twitch, logging in, and adding your Smite 2 information. You can do this on the Twitch page or visit the Smite 2 website to add your information.
  2. You need to watch any of the Smite 2 creators currently streaming the game and have the drops tag enabled. Here’s the complete list of Smite 2 creators you can watch.
  3. When you earn a reward, redeem the item at the Twitch drops inventory. It should go to the Smite 2 account you activated and synced to your account, and you can receive it in-game.

The Smite 2 development team has stressed that if you do not receive the Twitch reward immediately in-game, give it a few hours. It can take some time before they appear on your account.

These are the three Twitch rewards you can earn while watching Smite 2 creators and how long you need to watch them.

  • Watch for one hour to receive the Smite 2 GodChamp Title.
  • Watch for three hours to receive the Smite 2 GodChamp Badge.
  • Watch for five hours to receive the Smite 2 Meltdown Sol Skin.

After earning each milestone, you can switch to different Smite 2 streamers. Your progress toward these rewards does stack together, so you can always return later to finish it another day.

For those who are playing Smite, there will be a weekly Twitch drop campaign that offers a bundle of 25 Legacy Gems in Smite 2 and 2,000 Viewer Points in the first Smite for every two hours watched. This will be available when Hi-Rez adds the Category Wide Twitch drops section.
