Once Human has multiple quests for players that unravel the mysteries of Nalcott and reward them for solving puzzles and killing the deviants. A Family Legacy is a high-level quest so we’d recommend you to reach the end-game and use tier-five legendary weapons to take down deviants and even Rosetta soldiers who will stand in your way.

Here’s everything you need to know to complete the A Family Legacy quest in Once Human.

How to start A Family Legacy quest and find the Rosetta Researcher’s Map in Once Human

The “A Family Legacy” quest in Once Human by visiting Maeve Gold’s house, roughly located at coordinates: 4490,-2269 at the Evergreen town in the Red Sands region. You can use the nearby teleporter to reach the location and enter the house to find a note and diary to read. The first note should be near the kitchen counter where you will get the answer to the puzzle by reading the note named Important Code

You should spot three building blocks in front of you and you must flip them in the right order to show the code U-6-P as per the first note. You can interact with the three highlighted cubes to flip them and make them show the code facing you to solve the puzzle.

Once you’ve done that, a chest should appear at the backside of the cubes and you can open it to get your hands on the Rosetta Researcher’s Map to move to the next part of the quest. If you want to get your hands on a freebie here, leave through the front gate, and follow the hologram to get a mystic chest and it should give you a Model-2 toy for your deviants in your base

How to use the Rosetta Researcher’s Map in Once Human

After getting your Rosetta Researcher’s Map and reading Maeve’s diary entry kept at the study desk near the back door, you need to use the map to find the exact spot. Even though the Rosetta Researcher’s map shows only the physical terrain of the place, you should quickly figure out that she mentions her husband’s place of work as Alternative Reality Research Centre, which is a place on your map. She also has an access card which could be used there to open the Rosetta Safe crate.

To find the Rosetta Safe crate, make your way to the Alternative Reality Research Centre located at coordinates 6931,-1660 with max-level enemies. We’d heavily recommend you use high-level gear and weapons or you’ll end up spending your Adrenaline shots trying to revive yourself after every encounter.

You can also get combat Deviants like Mr. Wish to assist you in the mission to take down the evil corporation. We used a Sniper with a Sharpnel and Burn mix build and it worked wonders, taking down the enemies without a sweat.

Once you are at the location, find two Rosetta guards at the entrance of the building near the stairs, and eliminate them to use the stairs and climb up to the first floor. Eliminate more guards here and use the cover to your advantage to make shots without taking much damage.

Now, move to your left and find many statues lined up. Go straight from here and take the stairs to the next floor. Keep going up until you spot a black-colored elevator room with the word “Rosetta” written on it in yellow ink. Take a left from here on the third floor and eliminate the guards to take another set of stairs to the fourth and final floor.

Eliminate the enemies and drones and you can take cover to your left. Once you’re done taking down the Rosetta Mechanist boss, you can go straight, take a right, and then a right towards the windows to find a lab labeled “R.S.T Lab” and search the Rosetta Safe there to complete the quest.

The Rosetta Safe contains many Energy Links, Stellar Planula, and more good stuff to help you out and make yourself even stronger to fight enemies in Once Human.
