The LoLdle quote on Aug. 22 is, “The dance of blades.” The League champion who says this line is Katarina.
The word “blades” stood out to me the most here. Champions that came to mind were Irelia, Katarina, and Talon; they all who wield multiple blades and could fit this quote. But I couldn’t figure out who would most likely say it, so I sorted them alphabetically and got the answer correct with the second champ: Katarina.
If you haven’t noticed, I don’t tend to play League assassins, which means I don’t know much about Katarina. But, as it turns out, she says this voice line once she’s finished channeling Death Lotus (R). This is where Katarina spins around, dealing magic damage to the three closest enemies. And it does look like a dance of sorts, albeit a deadly one.
On the Rift, Katarina’s pretty balanced—she has a 50.04 percent win rate, according to League stat website U.GG. In saying that, she’s set to get nerfs to her passive in League Patch 14.17, so it’s possible her win rate will drop. So, if you’re looking for an assassin to play mid lane, she may be worth choosing (at least until she’s nerfed).
