After you talk with the bird Jafar calls Annoying Nuisance, turn right and walk over to the table with an open book and piece of paper on it to reveal the recipe you need. The paper is a note written by Jafar that details his struggle to get the bird to eat anything except for fresh vegetables and rotten seafood.

Now that you know what the bird wants, you have to figure out which ingredients you need to make this recipe.

How to cook what Jafar’s bird wants in Disney Dreamlight Valley

From the table, turn right and approach the table that has four ingredients on it. These are the items you need to cook the bird’s meal, but unfortunately, they’re all fresh and the bird will only consume rotten seafood.

To get the rotten seafood, you have to alter time. Grab a Ripe Tomato and Ripe Carrot from the table then turn right toward the interactive hourglass. Interact with the hourglass to alter time then head back to the ingredients table. The seafood is now rotten, so grab a Rotten Clam and Rotten Fish for the bird.

Interact with the cooking station right next to the ingredient table to finally cook the bird’s meal.

To feed the bird, you need to combine four ingredients at the cooking station:

  • One Ripe Tomato
  • One Ripe Carrot
  • One Rotten Fish
  • One Rotten Clam

These four times combine to make Bird Food, which is the meal Annoying Nuisance desires. Deliver it to them and you’ll be rewarded with a Power Coil, which isn’t the key the bird promised but does help you progress in the Jafar’s Laboratory quest as you can now access the key.

After you finish this task, you might consider taking a break from Jafar’s antics to work on the Dapper Delights Star Path or start working on unlocking Tiana.
