To complete the Back from the Bayou quest, you have to work through several steps as you help Tiana open her restaurant and stall. Here’s a complete guide to everything you need to do.

  • Talk with Tiana.
  • Place Tiana’s Palace.
  • Talk with Tiana inside the restaurant.
  • Craft Tiana’s Meal Stall.
  • Buy the first meal.
  • Invite villagers to the grand opening.
  • Craft Bistro Tables and Chairs.
  • Attend the grand opening event.

How to get Tiana’s Palace in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As soon as you reach level two friendship with Tiana, you can talk to her to unlock the Tiana’s Palace building. It can then be placed anywhere in the valley using the furniture menu.

Once Tiana’s Palace has been placed, head inside to talk with her about the restaurant. One of her first endeavors is to set up Tiana’s Meal Stall so everyone has easy access to freshly cooked meals on the go, which means your next task is to craft this structure.

How to craft Tiana’s Meal Stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To craft Tiana’s Meal Stall, you need:

  • 15 Glass
  • 10 Hardwood
  • Five Bricks
  • 25 Softwood

Assemble all of these items at any crafting station to construct this tiny shop. After it’s made, you need to place it close to Tiana’s Palace, so make sure you put it decently near wherever you previously placed her restaurant. You can always move both around later if you end up wanting them elsewhere.

With Tiana’s Meal Stall now placed, interact with it to buy your first meal so you can progress the quest. After this, Tiana is ready to hold a grand opening event and wants you to invite Moana and Mother Gothel to attend, so set out to find and talk with them.

There’s also an optional third task where you listen as Tiana and Remy decide how to make their two culinary ventures coexist, but you don’t have to be there for this conversation unless you want to. After you talk to both villagers, return to Tiana’s Palace to see what progress she’s made.

How to craft the Bistro Tables and Chairs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The next step is to craft some Bistro Tables and Chairs to place near Tiana’s Meal Stall. To do so, you need to obtain:

Once you have these items, visit any crafting station to make the required chairs and tables. Open the future menu when you’re done to place them close to Tiana’s Meal Stall. You also need to place two elegant decorations to progress.

Head back inside Tiana’s Palace again once you’re done. It’s finally time for the grand opening, so head back outside and place down the Inauguration Ribbon Tiana gave you to officially start the event.

After snapping some photos with the villagers who attend, talk with Remy, Moana, and Mother Gothel to see what they think of Tiana’s Meal Stall. Report back to Tiana with what they said and the Back to the Bayou quest will officially be complete. There’s still lots to do, so make sure you review the Dapper Delight update patch notes if you’re not sure what to tackle next.
