Starfield Shattered Space will drop on all available platforms on Sept. 30 this year. This was confirmed during Gamescom 2024, where Bethesda briefly showed the ominous-looking worlds that will likely feature in the DLC itself. We also don’t know the price for the DLC, though the company is likely to share that information soon.

Bethesda hasn’t yet unveiled the exact time when the expansion will be unlocked on release day, so our countdown will aim for Sept. 30 at midnight and will be updated if and when the developer issues exact hours.

When will Starfield’s REV-8 vehicle update come out?

The little extra that Bethesda threw in today during its Gamescom 2024 appearance was a new tool for traversing and navigating its many planets—the REV-8 vehicle, which releases today, Aug. 20. Players will no longer have to go on foot everywhere and spend a long time from point to point and can utilize the REV-8 to greatly help them travel across the planets themselves.

Hopefully, the company goes against tradition and the REV-8 doesn’t play a loading screen each time you hop in and out of it. But, at the very least, this vehicle update is free for Starfield players.
