Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Dapper Delights update is bringing lots of fresh content to the valley for all players to explore. Since there’s so much content, you may want to review the Dapper Delights patch notes to learn about all of the new features.

This is a fairly large update for both the base game and the DLC pack, which means there’s quite a lot to delve into. Here are the patch notes for the Aug. 21 Dapper Delights update in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The Aug. 21 Dapper Delights update includes both free base game content available to all players and the final chapter for the A Rift in Time DLC exclusively for owners of this expansion pass. It also has an array of bug fixes for both.

New content and changes (base game)

  • Tiana from The Princess and the Frog joins the valley with new friendship quests and items to unlock as you befriend her.
  • The Tiana’s Palace restaurant is now a second dining location you and the villagers can visit to grab a bite to eat.
  • Tiana’s Meal Stall is a new stand that offers already-cooked meals you can purchase with Star Coins.
  • The Dapper Delights Star Path is a new event featuring lots of roaring twenties-inspired items like a Dream Style for Donald Duck and plenty of fresh outfit options.
  • Ariel’s Royal Bundle is a permanent addition to the Premium Shop. This pack includes many unique items from The Little Mermaid including a Dream Style for Ariel, a house based on Prince Eric’s village, and some clothing items.
  • There’s now a search filter for the furniture and wardrobe pages.
  • All players can now save and apply custom outfit presets.
  • You can now favorite or hide items in the furniture and wardrobe menus.
  • Following continuous player feedback about Belle’s appearance, Belle has now been redesigned to better represent her character.
  • You can now remove all furniture from a room at once.
  • A new type of furniture has been added that you can interact with to take fun photos with valley villagers.
  • Scrooge McDuck’s shop has some new items available for purchase.
  • The Premium Shop will feature new additions that rotate in on a weekly basis.
  • Players who purchased the Nefarious Tool Set or Skeletal Tool Set will be automatically granted a Royal Hourglass skin to complete these sets.
  • Photo Mode has two new full-body poses.
  • For completing Remy’s daily deliveries, the base Wrought Iron earned is now six, and the maximum possible amount has been increased to 15.
  • Critter schedules and villager schedules have been modified to make both more accessible for all players.
  • Cross-platform play is now supported for PlayStation consoles.

New content and changes (A Rift in Time expansion pass)

  • The final chapter, which is called Treasures of Time, arrives and concludes the storyline with the final story quests to work through.
  • Jafar is now a villager you can recruit to join your valley and he comes with unlockable rewards and quests to work through.

Bug fixes

  • For the Diamond in the Rough quest, an issue preventing some players from picking up the Jewel of Time has been fixed.
  • In the Village Project: Timeless Treasures quest, an issue where the Timebending Table was missing has been fixed.
  • Scrooge McDuck’s chest not opening for some players in the A Deal with Ursula quest has been fixed.
  • Sandstones blocking players from progressing in the Flying Metal Nuisance quest has been fixed.
