2 pistols in MW3 and Warzone are so broken, they’ve been temporarily disabled

Be careful out there, operators.

A couple of handguns in Call of Duty were causing so many problems that they were swiftly disabled today, thankfully, ahead of a weekend of gaming.

The COR-45 and Renetti handguns are the pistols in question, but more specifically, an attachment for each of them were somehow bugged, making them deal way more damage than intended and effectively melting the opposition.

The XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit, an Aftermarket Part for the COR-45, has been disabled because it was just shredding armor and HP in Warzone, as seen in the video above posted by streamer and CoD world champion TeePee.

TeePee called himself an “actual scumbag on the map” for using the bugged guns, but several hours later, they were “temporarily disabled due to an exploit,” according to Activision, so the attachment cannot currently be used right now.

The company used the same language for the Akimbo Rear Grip attachment for the Renetti, which was causing similar issues. The burst handgun can be dual-wielded with the Akimbo attachment, and then buffed further with larger magazines, turning them into a couple of cannons for players running around Urzikstan.

Warzone is set to get an update next week in Season Five Reloaded, including a couple of new weapons, contracts, and the return of the Supreme Resurgence mode. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed by then before they can cause more problems with the massive download that will set the stage for what’s to come next in CoD.

Most players will be turning their attention to the future of Warzone, though, to be revealed at the Call of Duty Next event from Washington, D.C. on Aug. 28. While fans have gotten a taste of both MW3 multiplayer (thanks to leaks) and Zombies, whatever is coming for Warzone will be kept under wraps until then.
