Fortnite gamers love Peely, the adorable banana character, and everyone loves Marvel characters like Wolverine. So why not combine the two?

Disney and Epic Games had the same idea with the special Peelverine Plush back bling in Fortnite, a special item that can be earned during the 2024 D23 showcase, where Disney shows off upcoming projects like movies, shows, and games.

So, what if Peely wore a gaudy yellow outfit and had claws on his hands? That’s what this plush back bling is all about. Our only hope is that Disney sells it as an actual real-life plush for us to hang out with.

Here’s how to get this adorable Wolverine Peely back bling in Fortnite.

Fortnite players can earn this adorable Peely Wolverine plush back bling by tuning into the Disney Horizons Live stream within Fortnite itself on Saturday, Aug. 10 for a total of 10 minutes.

The livestream begins at 10:30pm CT, so it’s a late one in North America. But to tune in, the Disney Horizons Live stream can be found in Fortnite’s homebar top row in the Discover menu, or by entering the island code: 7908-6413-2516.

Below, you can see a countdown to exactly when the show begins:

When does the D23 stream begin in Fortnite?

There will be some bonus XP available for those who tune in as well, and both the XP and the special back bling will be made available sometime in September, according to Epic Games.

Epic also says not to worry if you can’t be there for the live show, which is good because it’s very late at night and I am old. The Disney Horizons Live island will be available until Aug. 16, and you can spend 10 minutes watching the presentation (which will be on a loop until it closes) to earn the prizes.

The stream is likely worth tuning in for if you’re a fan of games or Marvel, and even Star Wars. It’s possible that Disney will use D23 to showcase upcoming games like Star Wars Outlaws, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Marvel Rivals, the untitled upcoming Blade game, and more.

It’s also possible, however unlikely, that Disney and Epic could reveal something about its shared world project that was announced in February this year after the entertainment company invested $1.5 billion in the game publisher.
