Excitement for EA FC 25 is continuing to rise, and the countdown to the release is on. However, with a release date in late September, the latest entry in the series is coming long after the top leagues in Europe have kicked off a new season.

That may mean you’re itching to dive into the game to get your fix, and the good news is you can do so slightly early. We’ve explained all the methods below.

The only guaranteed way to play EA FC 25 as early as possible is to purchase an edition of the game that includes early access as a bonus. This has become a common occurrence with EA Sports titles, so it’s something you should be used to by now.

If you’re really lucky, you can play EA FC 25 even earlier by earning a spot in the closed beta, but this is down to the luck of the draw. There’s no guaranteed method to secure your spot in the beta, but there are some steps you need to follow to be eligible.

If you’re not lucky enough to earn a spot in the beta, EA FC 25’s early access will be your first chance to play the title. For full early access, purchase the EA FC 25 Ultimate Edition to get the whole game a week earlier than the Sept. 27 release date.

Without splashing out on the Ultimate Edition, your options are limited. However, a 10-hour trial of EA FC 25 is available for EA Play members—a subscription that’s included for subscribers to Xbox Game Pass.

Once your 10 hours in the trial are over, you need to buy the Ultimate Edition of EA FC 25 to continue playing in early access, otherwise you need to wait for the full release on Sept. 27.
