Never to Everness is a brand new open-world RPG title from the studio that gave us MMO Tower of Fantasy, and thanks to the latest gameplay trailer, we finally have an idea of what the game will be like and how massive the world on offer is.

At first glance, it looks like an anime Gacha Cyberpunk/GTA-like adventure with a sprawling world, cars you can drive, creatures to take on, and cute characters to add to your party. There are still a lot of question marks around the story, however.

It’s also the first time we got a deeper look at the game’s first three revealed characters—Mint, Nanally, and Sakari. We got a brief look at them interacting with one another, as well as quick looks at their fighting styles when going against monsters invading a city.

Releasing sometime in September 2024 for PC and console, players can sign up for pre-registration right now to get many rewards should they play from launch. The exact release date has not been revealed yet, but considering the time frame and if we had to guess, we assume news will appear at Gamescom in August as part of Opening Night Live. It feels like the most likely place to reveal any final details, and would match up with all the timelines perfectly.

With so much still to discover, especially regarding overall gameplay, we are biding our time until the next release date and can’t wait to see what Hotta Studio is cooking.
