It’s the final battle between Nicol Bolas and everyone else on Ravnica in MTG War of the Spark. The expansion features over 30 planeswalkers and several limited Mythic Edition planeswalkers.
Set to release on May 1, the Mythic Edition box is available on Hasbro’s eBay store for $249.99. The box-set includes 24 War of the Spark boosters, with eight of those as masterpiece boosters, containing one of eight limited foil planeswalkers.
Masterpiece boosters will also include the normal mythic rare/rare planeswalker in addition to the foil one. Only 12,000 units of the Magic: The Gathering War of the Spark Mythic Edition will be made.
Gideon Blackblade and Jace, the Mind Sculptor are available with alternate artwork in the MTG pre-built planeswalker decks. Nicol Bolas Dragon-God is in the normal set with different art, while the others are available through the Mythic Edition box.
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a colorless planeswalker with a casting cost of eight mana. His plus-two of dealing three damage to any target is decent, but it’s his minus-10 that catches the eye.
“You gain seven life, draw seven cards, then put up to seven permanent cards in your hand onto the battlefield,” the card reads.

Nahiri, the Harbinger
Nahiri, the Harbinger is a four mana (one red and one white) planeswalker with a plus loyalty counter of “discard a card, draw a card.” It’s nothing to write home about, but her minus-eight loyalty counter could have an impact.
It allows you to search your library for an artifact or creature card and put it into the battlefield with haste. At the beginning of your next end step, the card returns to its owner’s hand.

Sarkhan Unbroken
Sarkhan Unbroken is a five mana (one blue, one red, and one green) planeswalker. He has a plus one loyalty counter that gives card advantage through drawing a card, and land advantage by adding mana of any color.
His minus-two puts a four/four dragon token onto the battlefield and Sarkhan’s minus-eight lets you search your library for any dragon creature cards, putting them directly onto the battlefield.

Garuk, Apex Predator
Garuk, Apex Predator is a seven mana (one black and one green) planeswalker who isn’t messing around. His plus one loyalty counter destroys another planeswalker or creates a three/three beast token with deathtouch.
His minus-eight, however, is a game ender. Your opponent gets an emblem stating when a creature attacks, it gains plus five/plus five and trample until the end of turn.

Tezzeret the Seeker
Tezzeret the Seeker is a five mana (two blue) planeswalker with a plus one loyalty counter that untaps two target artifacts, making artifact decks even more powerful than they already were in MTG War of the Spark.
