Following the Season of the Malignant and Season of Blood in Diablo 4, season three, dubbed Season of the Construct, will allow players to acquire their own Seneschal Companion, a mechanical ally who will aid you in combat. You can upgrade and customize your companion with Governing Stones and Tuning Stones, which can be obtained in the season’s new dungeons.

Blizzard has also shared when we can expect season three to begin in Diablo 4—which is detailed below.

Blizzard has confirmed Diablo 4 season three will begin on Jan. 23 at 12pm CT, immediately after season two ends. So, there will be no break period between the end of season two and the start of season three in Diablo 4.

You can use the countdown above to see exactly how many days, minutes, hours, and seconds there are until the release of season three in Diablo 4. If you have any unfinished business in Season of Blood, you’d best get back to it as soon as you can.

Season of the Construct will also bring with it some quality-of-life updates. For starters, Helltide events will always be active (save for a five-minute rest every hour), allowing you to battle Hellspawn more frequently and thus increase your chances of acquiring Cinder and other rewards. PC players will also receive the option to move their characters using the W-A-S-D keys on their keyboard instead of their mouse.
