PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be getting a brand new gun as part of next week’s update, and we now know that it is going to be the Mini-14. The Mini-14 is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle that is customizable for many different kinds of ammunitions and cartridges. The tweet by PUBG did not offer specifics on the gun, but it traditionally uses a 5.56 mm caliber ammo.
It’s unknown whether or not the gun will spawn on the map or be confined to care packages like the last two new guns added to the game, the Groza and the Mk14. PUBG will also be getting first-person leaderboards and foggy weather conditions added in the new update, which will be the first big update to the game in nearly a month. Meanwhile, PUBG only just recently surpassed 10 million sales in the first five months of early access and is still hugely popular on Twitch.
