The upcoming Granblue Fantasy title was revealed in 2016 and subsequently had several delays, so fans have been waiting a long time to get their hands on it. But the wait is now almost over, and developer Cygames has shared a lot of information on the content it will bring.

The demo will be the last testing phase for players before Cygames’ release, planned for Feb. 1. It’ll feature a lot of what players will see in the final version. Here is the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo’s release date and content.

The Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo is live now. The demo launched at 12am local time on Jan. 12 for PS5 and PS4.

Unfortunately, Cygames says there are no plans to release a demo for the PC version. So, this demo is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Here how you can play the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo ahead of its release.

The demo of Granblue Fantasy: Relink features a lot of content. You will be able to discover three different game modes, as well as 11 playable characters:

  • Gran
  • Katalina
  • Rackam
  • Io
  • Charlotta
  • Ghandagoza
  • Narmaya
  • Lancelot
  • Siegfried
  • Yodarha
  • Zeta

The first mode is a tutorial, which will teach you the basic controls. Second is Story Mode, which offers a small portion of the main game’s story. Third is Quest Mode, which includes three quests you can tackle solo or with up to three other players. Much like the main game, the demo allows for both local and online co-op. Clearing Story and Quest Mode will earn you some extra items you can carry over to the full game.
