Popular analyst and color caster Aidan “Zirene” Moon has left Riot Games. In a tweet on Tuesday, he announced that March 7 was his last day and that he is looking forward to exploring new opportunities.

This is a big blow for the LCS production crew. Earlier this year, fellow analyst Joshua “Jatt” Leesman announced that he was leaving the broadcast to join the balance team. While Jatt stayed with the company, it looks like Zirene is moving on to something entirely different.

Zirene has been with Riot Games since 2014 and officially joined the LCS broadcast in 2015. He has cast some of the most important moments in league history with frequent broadcast partner Rivington “RivingtonThe3rd” Bisland III.

He was notably absent from the English casting crew for Worlds last year, however, as Riot condensed its casting format and moved part of the broadcast to its Los Angeles studio in an attempt to save on costs. It’s unclear why he chose this point in the middle of the 2019 Spring Split to leave.

Zirene will continue to stream on his Twitch channel and look for other content creation opportunities. He did not say whether he was looking to continue on as a caster for other games.
