Warzone is still as hot as ever in the Call of Duty community, so it’s still important to know what the Warzone meta guns are before crafting a loadout and heading into a match.
Players may feel overwhelmed trying to choose a loadout for their Warzone matches, as there are well over 120 weapons after six seasons of live-service content. But there is a science to finding out which guns outperform others.
With that in mind, here are the best meta guns in Warzone in season six and beyond.
Best Warzone guns
Best long-range Warzone meta guns
DTIR 30-06
The new battle rifle added in season six is an absolute monster, and very reminiscent of the BAS-B when it was at its peak in 2023. This one’s not quite as strong, but it’s a top pick early on in the season and will stick around for a while.
- Barrel: Sanctum-60 Long Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Underbarrel: Kimura RYN-03 Vertical Grip
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: RecForge Grip
MCW
Probably MW3’s most memorable gun when all is said and done, the MCW is back again in the meta after a buff in season six. This loadout still works wonderfully when dealing damage at range, and every Warzone player should have a loadout like this ready to go at a moment’s notice.
- Muzzle: VT-7 Spitfire Suppressor
- Barrel: KR Midnight 13″ Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support
- Magazine: 60 Round Mag
MORS
Warzone got a new one-shot kill sniper rifle in season three, as the devs released a new version of the MORS from CoD: Advanced Warfare. It’s still the top sniper in season six, and one that every player should have a loadout with depending on how their match is going.
The sniper rifle is unique because players don’t need to reload thanks to an automatic rechambering animation after each shot. Additionally, players can down an enemy with Anti Material ammo with one shot from any range. Even though players won’t be able to conceal their location, as the MORS doesn’t have a suppressor option, we still believe it outclasses the KATT-AMR and XRK Stalker.
- Barrel: Emperor Long Barrel
- Laser: SZ Razorhawk Laser
- Stock Superlite-90 Stock
- Bolt: Quick Bolt
- Rear Grip: OP-980 Grip
Best close-range Warzone meta guns
Static-HV
The top SMG in season six is still the Static-HV. Even after several nerfs in the patch, this is the go-to close-range option for Rebirth Island and Urzikstan.

- Barrel: Auger 840 Light Barrel
- Laser: Kimura RYL33 Laser Light
- Stock: SPRY 34 Light Stock
- Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
HRM-9
The HRM-9 is still one of the best short-range meta weapons in season six, especially after other contenders got hit with hefty nerfs in other patches.
- Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
- Barrel: Princeps Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Stock: Folding Stock
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
Striker
Another weapon that will go down in MW3 history is the Striker. It was so good that it got banned from Competitive Play, but it’s still a top favorite in MW3 Warzone almost a year later.
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Stock: Lachmann MK2 Light Stock
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Magazine: 48 Round Mag
- Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
BP50 (JAK Revenger)
One of the best Aftermarket Parts added in MW3, the JAK Revenger Kit took the BP50 from a menial AR and turned it into a dominant SMG. It’s still great in season six.
- Conversion Kit: JAK Revenger Kit
- Muzzle: Casus Brake
- Laser: 1MW Artemis Laser
- Ammunition: 9mm High Grain Rounds
- Rear Grip: CGC-TAC Tape
MCW (JAK Raven)
The MCW’s popularity is so high because it performs well in both long and close range scenarios, thanks to the JAK Raven Kit. This loadout is still strong enough to hold its own against other meta SMGs.
- Aftermarket Parts: JAK Raven Kit
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Barrel: Kimura Blackiron Heavy Short Barrel
- Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
