Artifact locations on The Island
There are 10 Artifacts to collect on The Island in Ark: Survival Ascended that need to be collected to tackle the game’s bosses. Three Artifacts are required to tackle the Broodmother and Megapithecus, while four specific Artifacts must be collected before tackling the Dragon.
Nestled in caves, these areas are not for the faint of heart, and significant preparation should be completed before tackling them—particularly given the specific threats that can be found, including freezing temperatures in the Snow Cave and poison gas in the Swamp Cave.
You’ll need a wealth of different items for exploration, including tames, grapple guns, parachutes, armor, and more.

There are 10 Artifacts on The Island in Ark: Survival Ascended but more Artifacts will be added with the release of new maps.
Ark: Survival Evolved had 21 total Artifacts to collect across the various maps, and the same total is expected for Ark: Survival Ascended once all of the remastered maps have been released. But additional Artifacts could be added.
